Earth School

A considered revamp for an environmental-education non-profit.

Context

Earth School runs environmental education programmes across Singapore. Their existing web presence undersold their mission and created friction for the families they were trying to reach.

The hard problem

The site was slow, visually dated, and difficult to navigate on mobile — the primary device for most of their audience. Programme discovery was buried. Booking a session required too many steps.

What we built

Performance-first rebuild

Next.js App Router with static generation for all content pages. Core Web Vitals green across the board — LCP under 1.5s on mobile.

Mission-led visual design

A design system rooted in Earth School's visual identity — warm earth tones, organic shapes, high contrast for accessibility. WCAG AA throughout.

Streamlined programme discovery

Programmes surfaced in two clicks from the homepage. Filter by age group, location, and topic. Direct booking CTA on every programme card.

Outcome

Our refined version demonstrates the craft that goes into a considered, accessible, fast web presence for a mission-driven organisation. The live site reflects the client's chosen scope.
